Race Riots in the Civil Rights Era.
.
Racial tensions are embedded and are in American history. With these racial tensions America has seen and experienced racial rebellions and riots, with them being most prominent during the Civil Rights Era. Riots are a public outbreak of violence between two racial groups in a community. The biggest and most well known riots in American history were those between African Americans and Caucasian. For years African Americans were oppressed in every way by Caucasian people and as the 1960's came along, race riots between the two groups reached its climax. But during the 1960's race riots weren't just confined to one area of the country. Racism and racial discrimination were all throughout the country.
